Social Media Terms of Use
We want our social media channels to be welcoming, respectful and constructive places for everyone. To help achieve this, we ask that you follow the Terms of Use set out below. We may restrict, edit or remove content where necessary to maintain a respectful community.
- Introduction
1.1 These Social Media Terms of Use (“Social Media Terms”) apply to your interaction with official Premier Foods social media pages or accounts operated on Instagram and TikTok (“Platform”) (“Social Media Page”).
1.2 Our Social Media Page is operated by Premier Foods Group Ltd or another group company (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Premier Foods”), (registered in England and Wales with company number 00281728 and registered address Premier House, Centrium Business Park, Griffiths Way, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL1 2RE, United Kingdom).
1.3 By accessing, following, commenting on, tagging, mentioning, or submitting content to our Social Media Page, you indicate that you accept these Social Media Terms.
1.4 You may not use our Social Media Pages if you are not of legal age to form a binding contract (i.e. under 18 years of age) or if you are legally prohibited from receiving or using the relevant services under the laws of the country from which you access them.

2.1 Your use of the Platform is governed by the Platform’s own terms, policies and community guidelines. These Social Media Terms apply in addition to those Platform terms and do not replace them.
2.2 These Social Media Terms should also be read alongside:

2.3 We do not control the Platform and are not responsible for its availability, functionality or content. We cannot guarantee that content will remain visible or be removed in line with these Social Media Terms.
- Acceptable use
3.1 You must not post, submit or share content on or in connection with our Social Media Page that:
- is unlawful, misleading or deceptive;
- is abusive, offensive, defamatory, threatening or discriminatory;
- infringes intellectual property, privacy or other third‑party rights;
- could reasonably cause harm to individuals (including children) or to our brands
- falsely suggests any endorsement, partnership or association with us; or
- promotes unrelated products or services, or constitutes spam
- Content moderation and removal
4.1 Access to our Social Media Page is permitted on a temporary basis. We may restrict, suspend, or remove access (on a temporary or permanent basis) where we reasonably believe there has been a material or repeated breach of these Social Media Terms or the Platform’s rules, or where required by law.
4.2 We may (but are not obliged to) monitor, review, moderate, hide, remove or restrict access to any content posted on or in connection with our Social Media Page at our sole discretion.
4.3 We are not responsible for monitoring user content, and we may remove or restrict access to content without notice.
- User‑generated content (UGC)
5.1 If you submit content to our Social Media Page (including by tagging us, mentioning us, using a brand hashtag or responding to a call‑out) (“UGC”), you confirm that you have all necessary rights, consents and permissions to do so.
5.2 You retain ownership of your UGC, but you grant Premier Foods a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, transferable licence (with the right to sub‑license) to use, reproduce, repost, adapt, create derivative works from, distribute, display and perform that UGC for the purpose of operating, promoting and redistributing our brands, including across social media, websites, advertising or other marketing materials, in any media formats and through any media channels. We may use your UGC with or without attribution.
5.3 Where the Platform or our Social Media Page provides functionality to remove UGC, the licence in clause 5.2 will end when the UGC is removed, subject to any continued use that is technically necessary or has already occurred.
5.4 Any interaction with, or reposting of, user content by us does not constitute an endorsement or approval of the user, their content, or any products or services they may promote.
- Promotions and competitions
6.1 Any competitions, prize draws or promotions run via our Social Media Page will be subject to separate promotion‑specific terms and conditions, which will be made available at the relevant time.
6.2 The Platform is not sponsors of, nor responsible for, any promotion unless expressly stated.
- Reliance on information
7.1 Content on our Social Media Page is provided for general information only and is not intended to amount to advice on which reliance should be placed.
- Liability
8.1 We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability where it would be unlawful.
8.2 Subject to clause 8.1, we are not responsible for content posted by third parties on our Social Media Page or for views expressed by users.
8.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied terms, warranties or conditions relating to our Social Media Page and the content on it, and we will not be liable for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on that content.
- Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in our brands, content and materials on our Social Media Page are owned by or licensed to Premier Foods. No rights are granted to you other than as necessary to access and use the Social Media Page in accordance with these Social Media Terms.

Our social media channels are not monitored 24/7, so responses may not be immediate, but we will respond as soon as reasonably practicable. We may revise these Social Media Terms from time to time by updating this page. Please check this page periodically to ensure you understand the terms that apply when you interact with our Social Media Page.
- Governing law and jurisdiction
12.1 If you are a consumer, the Social Media Terms are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that if you are resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there.
12.2 If you are a business, the Social Media Terms (and any non‑contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
